September 25...too late.

Hello Reader. How are things? It's late so I decided I might as well write. I will be going to NC soon. I'm excited about that! I used to live there but I moved out finding the culture shock was way too much to handle. I remember feeling lonely, not just because I was quiet and shy in school but because I was out of my element. I grew up in Las Vegas NV for goodness sakes, I was so used to people like me but I just moved to NC and my culture was regected in my face! It was definatly something very interesting. I know racism is touchy but it is still very much alive in Reidsville, North Carolina. Its sad but also very interesting to watch. I moved away about 3 years ago so it will be nice to go back and visit and see how things have played out. A lot of the writing that I am going to post will come from that time, but some of it is also new and improved. I will get on that soon. I dont know if anyone is reading but it would be nice if you were to just comment with the answer to this question. What is the legislation called trying to pass through congress right now that will grant illegal immigrant students, who have studied in the US for two years or more, a visa to go to college in the US? a simple google search will give you the answer! anyway keep the answer in mind because it will be the topic of my next post. I will be posting updates from my trip, for anyone who cares and since I plan to visit the schools I used to go to and ask about their policy regarding racist acts within the school I imagine those updates will be pretty interesting.

I'm Here And I am a Pioneer

My Name is Yesi, I'm 18 and I attend the University of _____. Opps my mom says I'm not suppose to give all my information out on the internet, well really basic internet safety says don't give out your information but whatever, so our masscot is a pioneer which you can probably go ahead and figure out on google or something. I am a socio-legal studies and spanish major with a minor in english, so I'm your basic libral arts college kid. I am so happy to be here, I live on campus so getting time away from my six member family is nice. So a few things about me; umm...I watch prime-time comedy shows, I want to be a lawyer and work for the UN when I get out of law school, I love to write, I like to express myself through the wonderful english language and in spanish, now and again but I aside from everything I love to write. I have never broken a bone, i hate most sports except for hockey, i dont believe in marrige, and I really want to make a change in this world. I want to leave a legacy and make this world a better place. I'm going to use this blog to publish stories, poems, and just updates.
